Why is the Matrix and Terminator movies Gothic?
I was searching Google for books and movies and ended up in a Gothic forum in which some people say the two were actually Gothic. Like I saw in other forums. I can not accept not agree because I do not know. They must be specialists Gothic or something .. You can not argue with that! So my question is why .. What is Gothic of them? Please someone enlighten me. Thank you. (I know Some of you who do not understand Gothic not everything they could find ridiculous. But it's true. If more than 20 people with experience Gothic (I usually do No labels, but how I can call?) Confirm the subject of these films, so it must be true. Everyone said that most people do not think … But Godo said what comes to Gothic of them? Sorry, there should be a good idea wave of Gothic architecture to even consider these two films in any way Gothic … both are the future of dark movies in the human-machine merger, and the war that are inherent. The idea is based more gothic film about gender of terror. (Although there are examples that go off due to fashion, stories and Gothic novels, settings, etc. ..) If these movies are to be linked to a subculture preferred rivethead / industrial subculture (which is a separate subculture of Gothic, though sometimes share the same clubs.) Goth is a subculture movement around music gothic rock (gothic rock came in the late 70s and in fact left the punk and post punk. Goth rock is more introspective than punk, and often obscure topics, nihilism, romanticism, gothic horror, and different philosophies.) and by definition, a Gothic is an avid fan and musician of this genre. It all that could be related to goth of these two films are the Matrix films, clothing, fashion has been taken from the industrial production and clubs Gothic. (The main characters of the clothing in the matrix and the club scene in the film is the third most notable examples.) However, the rivethead / industrial subculture is based around experimental music that often incorporates themes of man-machine fusion and a future ruled by machines. Without mentioning specific clothing the matrix is actually more common rivetheads Goths. Add to that a large part of the music of this film was Industrial and indeed the link is enough to advance music industry / sub-culture and movies from the matrix. The Terminator movies are really little bound by the dark future / the war between man and machine lords of the music tracks. Certainly not always trust in random positions gothic forums, there are many children out there that Spooky say things like that is not Gothic. (Spooky Kids are imposters who claim to be gothic, but I would not know a real goth band, if your life depended on it.)
