Tourist Information Guide to Manchester
Manchester is known worldwide as the first city in the industrialized world, but the city also has an important cultural and musical heritage. Shopping
More streets of Manchester Many of the shops are quite pedestrian, and some routes are covered. The Shambles and King Street are the places to find designer clothes shops, St Ann's Arcade is home to a number of luxury jewelry stores, clothing and footwear, and Barton Arcade is a shopping mall and offices. The Arndale Centre has 200 shops and restaurants, with parking for 2,000 cars.
With an area of thirty football pitches, and four separate business areas, The Trafford Centre has been called "a temple of consumption." There is parking for 10,000 cars, leisure facilities and a playground for children. Also There is a multipurpose room and a food kiosk, including a mini-Chinatown.
Sports
Manchester Aquatics Centre is one of twenty centers recreation in the city, and contains two 50-meter pools, a gym, a study of training, treatment rooms and lounge chairs. A complete schedule of classes and groups, among them "Women" session.
The Ten Acres Astro Centre includes a field with artificial turf and outdoor gym.
The road the United Kingdom is the main Olympic velodrome bike in Manchester, which also contains twelve tennis basketball, badminton and golf ten o'clock one basketball. Cycling Registration is also available for adults and children.
